Weird lectures

I am sorry but I find the use of terms like “cumbersome” and “perturb” and “any pertinent queries” during a Maths lecture very disturbing. It sounds fake and phony and really out of place. Specially when I go to the lecture just to copy down solutions and don't listen to a word he says. But then phrases like “I just want to make sure we’re in the same space” come up, and I find it kind of hard to ignore them. Not good.
